"Let the children come to me" story in the Bible

Mark 10
The Little Children and Jesus
13People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.15Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”16And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.

The faith of a child is pure.
It's unadulterated, unaltered, unspoiled.

They come to God with open arms.
With wide eyes full of joy and awe and wonder.
So trusting and hopeful.

This is how we should approach Jesus.. in order to embrace the mystery of the man who did everything for us. The man who let nothing get in the way of offering us grace and giving up every bit of life in His body... just so we could know the truth of His Father.

Let's sit at His feet and listen to His words and absorb His teachings
in a way that our lives radiate Him.
