Changing the Word of God

The whole Progressive movement is ridiculous and blasphemous, because it's all about taking the Word of God and changing it to make it relevant in our own words to what we think works better for us.

Our words cannot be God's words, and when we add or take away from the Bible as it is, we change the truth of it. 

If we change the truth of the Bible, it is no longer the Word of God, but the word of man, which completely negatives the reason we have it. 

You cannot call yourself a Bible believing Christian, and believe in words and thoughts and beliefs that are not biblical. That's not how it works. 

If you say you believe the Bible, then you can't believe in something you added or took away from it. 

That wouldn't be believing in the Bible. 

That would be believing in yourself. 

Which is blasphemy.

 

Idols and Idolatry

God does not live in a physical form. 

The only visual He has ever given us is the man of Jesus, the Son in human flesh, because there had to be a perfect blameless physical sacrifice. 

When we deceive ourselves into "needing" something physical to bow down to, to worship, that 1. restricts us to only worshipping when we are near that physical item. 2. not only worshipping the omnipresent being of God, but belittling Him into an object that is ridiculously confining to a being who can't live in anything manmade. 3. giving us a false sense of hope and control. 

This is why we have the cross. 

When we bow down at the base of this manmade item, it reminds of the man who hung on it and spilled His divine yet human blood to cover our sins, and extend the free gift of grace to us for eternity. 

Direct quotes of Jesus about the law?

Jesus commanded that we follow two commands, that cover the old law completely. 

1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, your soul and your mind. 

2. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. 

When we make the choice to believe in Him, deciding that what He did is truth, that means we believe and we follow what He said and continues to say through the Bible, God's Holy Word. 

This doesn't mean we don't question it and weigh it, this means we hold onto it as our core beliefs. This means when we do question it, we can find the answers in it as well! 
 

What is a state of being?

I never thought about this in a detailed way before a week or so ago. 

I was meandering in the field and I was trying to figure out... 

what?

why? 

I don't know what this "presence" means.

And I asked my friend, and she said it was a state of being.. 

What is a state of being? 

My words were:

"Have you ever exited in a space in time where that's just what it feels like? Existing in a space in time? There's nothing overwhelming or underwhelming, there's no anxiety or depression, there's no thought of the past or feelings for the future, it's just a sense of.. I have no idea what to call the space. There's no fear or judgment or excitement or anything. Its's not negative or positive, it just is. Walking in the field with a cup of coffee and rain that seems to be hardening, hearing the patter of it on my coat, feeling the icy breeze, enjoying the scent of the fresh air, the scent of oxygen I guess.. There's no smell to it. But ... What is this? It's no dissociative, it's not quite grounded, but it's very real. And I don't mind it. :)"

Psalm 100:1-2

This does not say when or where or how.. worship is not confined to one specific way. 

Worship is part of living. 

Worship is part of being. 

Worship is lifting up the presence of God and glorifying who He is above all else.. forever, and in any way possible.

God’s Love and Ours

7Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Because God loves the way He does, He wants us to be in a love relationship with Him. This is why it's a relationship, not a religion. Because God as the Son came to earth in Human form so He could be the perfect sacrifice. Old Testament law requires a perfect sinful blameless sacrifice, and in order for that to be covered ETERNALLY, and perfect blameless offering had to be made. Jesus was the only way. And since the death on the cross and resurrection, belief in Jesus has been and IS the only way to connect with and be part of God's family for eternity. He is an entity, a spirit, therefore it's not about works in order for a physical face to see what we've done, but it's about the love connection of a Creator for whom He has created. 

Numbers 23:19

What God says is it. 

When he speaks, there is no backpedaling or clarification needed. 

He says what He means, and He means what He says. 

God has always kept His promises. 

God always does what He says He will do. 

And He never says something He won't follow through with. 

Romans 5:1

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. 

Once you are redeemed through acceptance of the truth of the gospel, your sin is covered by the blood of Jesus. 

Your life is new, and change is inevitable. 

Even the Demons can't just do what they want

Even evil spirits and demons know that God is real, know that Jesus is powerful… and have to ask permission in order to act.

“When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him. He shouted at the top of his voice, “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?
