it’s okay

It’s okay if the only thing you can do to get you through the day is scrolling mindlessly through your social media feed.

It’s okay if you’re living on coffee some days.

It’s okay if the only human connection you have for weeks or months is through online messaging or texting.

It’s okay if you live in your robe, pajamas or sweats.

It’s okay if your only hairstyle for days on end is barely brushed and messy bunned.

It’s okay if you fall apart and need to retreat and cry.

It’s okay if you need to ask someone to come over and help you clean your house because you just can’t... wearing a mask, of course. ;)

It’s okay to be where you are right now.
It won’t last forever.
It’s only for a season, even if the season seems long.
You can do this.
You will get through.
You will pull out of it, whether it’s someone helping you or a personal victory.

Seasons change, and come and go, and new growth comes after the storms.
Grab an umbrella and a best friend.. you got this.
