What is a creed?

A creed is a set of beliefs or aims which guide someone's actions.
The gospel is the creed for Christianty.
"We believe in God the Father, Son and Spirit, all three entities in one being,
who has no beginning and no end.
We believe that Jesus was God in human form, who was born of a virgin, lived a blameless life,
died and rose again, and will come back."

Nicene Creed
"We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God."

The Apostle's Creed
"I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting."
